Prepped an engine bay for LS install.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

My God. Yes. I know we are a minority, but wouldn’t it be great to have some representation in Washington??? Thanks so much for writing this up; it’s nice to see I am not the only one who actually thinks these are important issues.

Irony: a situation that is strange or funny because things happen in a way that seems to be the opposite of what you expected.

I don’t even know how to....

...

Class and luxury are not that car’s forte. Going fast and looking good doing it is. Also, it soaks up highway miles quite comfortably.

HAHAHAHA! ^ speaks truth. Manual or go home.

Absolutely true, but more people see your car than do your couch.

Clearly “almost every” is Hyberbole. What I mean to say is that virtually every truck, van, and higher or mid tier car had some variant of an LS. Of any modern V8, the LS is absolutely the most wide spread, in some form or another. Seriously, just look at the LS applications. They even put one in a FWD Impala SS!!!

6.2L worth of torque must be hilarious in such a light car. Like getting hit in the stomach with a baseball bat, I imagine.

Yes. Yes indeed they are. No argument from me. Other than a couple design elements I liked for the 2010, the 16's are a better car in just about every way. But, I have a 2010. And I am not going to run out and buy a 2016, no matter how much I might want to.

You have an interesting take on this. Now, from your other comments in this thread, I see you very much do not care about cars. But, let me offer a counterpoint:

I recommend a Camaro. My God is it fun to drive.

My current obsession is the LS. Any LS. As far as V8's go, it’s combination of cost, aftermarket support, and plug n playablity makes it a go to for any swap.

RB25's are great motors not only because of their similarities to R26's, but also their own advantages. When I had my old 240sx, I was looking into swap options because that KA24DE was just too damn slow.

1st Gear: Regarding the actual bill, I deal mostly in pre-76 stuff anyway, so I don’t care too much, and this is likely a good thing, as I like breathing.

You know, I’ll play Devil’s advocate for a second, and admit that, on some level, I guess, I can sort of understand how someone would be annoyed at seeing partially functional car in a driveway or said car under a tarp. If you have some Stepford notion of what your neighborhood should look like, than I understand

Which explains the first gear pull, of which I have no issue with.

I am pretty sure he miss-shifted and red-lined the car twice. Also, he did seem to be speeding, and shifting quite vigorously, for which there wasn’t really any reason for....
