I don't believe that to be true. I've been a PC gamer since around 2004 and have pirated one game, felt terrible about it, then bought it. I would say that it used to be a problem, but with the advent of GMG and Steam sales, there is no point to pirate games. Just wait, usually less than a year, and the game will

Because if the medium has the possibility to give the end user the option to choose how the product runs, the user should be able to make that choice. BtW, we do choose how a filmmaker makes films; did you see The Hobbit at 48fps? Made me (and plenty of other people) wanna barf. I doubt filmmakers will be doing

I played through TR at 30. Had no issues with how it ran, and I wanted it to look as pretty as possible. I think it really depends on the game.

Seems to be

You lose "Notoriety Points" which, once you get enough, grant perks and skills. Not enough to really get all upset about it though and be dickish about losing. I might turn mine off until I'm done with the story because of the bug, but getting invaded is so much fun.

I played the beta, and you pretty much nailed it. I really enjoyed it because it is so close to WoW, but I can't afford the game and sub fee at the moment. Plus there's just too many games coming out soon, I feel like I'd be missing out on those.

It seemed to fix itself around 3pm today. I haven't had this issue at my apartment in Annapolis.

Baltimore. Thanks for the speedy replies dudes.

I know, this isn't the place to post this, but I can't find the proper channels. Every time I refresh kotaku it takes me back to old posts, (specifically the front page that had the "Why Speed Runners Use Gltiches" article at the top). I can clear my cookies and cache in chrome, and it works for a bit, then goes

I've seen it other places too. I waaant iitttt

It's basically only used as an extra button when it is used. Killzone had the best use for it that I've seen; you swiped a direction to dictate what your bot does. Other than that, it was the interact button in ISS, and the map button in ACIV and Watch_Dogs. It's also able to scroll through those maps.

I'd argue that Pro FPS gamers use PCs, but that's beside the point. The DS3 was so bad, I...I..I can't even find a good metaphor it's that bad. The bigger DS4 just feels better, plus I really like the touchpad.

Well, I don't have any experience with the LEGO games or CoL, but they aren't exactly graphically taxing. W_D is pretty close though.

Consoles get auto aim though. Throw a console player into a PC game without the auto aim and they'd get rekt.

"more and more", then names one game. Are there any other multiplats that are equal? None IIRC.

The controller was actually a huge reason I went with the PS4 over the One. I tried it out at a local mall and was horrified at what they did with the triggers. I love my 360 controller, but dang.

Six months later, my opinion of the Xbox One controller has significantly improved. I've grown to like the feel of the thing in my hands, including the contrast between the solid controller and those wiggly triggers. Many hours of Titanfall have helped me get a sense of just how good the Xbox One controller is for

Ohh, I read that as the other way around.

I call my PS4 my peasant mistress. Gotta have a few bastards running around.

No. It is all state based, and can even vary county by county. Delaware has no sales tax, while some states are well above the normal 6%. Also, If I buy something online from a retailer, and they have no brick-and-mortar stores in my state, I don't get charged tax.
