LIES! I get the paper edition on the weekends just so I can read the autos section.

I sometimes look at them from an elevated subway line, which is definitely different from any view I had in Texas. Mostly, though, they're still cars. I don't love them any more or any less. Read more

I mean being president does make you commander in chief, and wouldn't you say that the privilege to be saluted makes you more obligated to show your respect and salute back? Read more

Yeah, taking Patrick seriously would be a big mistake. That's just good life advice.

I have used MegaBus one time on a round trip ticket (well actually you have to purchase multiple one-ways) from Knoxville to D.C. and it was great! I would much rather take the megabus than drive myself. Free Wi-Fi, extremely comfortable seating, clean, spacious, tv. We were even delayed by about 4 hours due to a Read more

My experiences have been great. I rode from new orleans back to Atlanta and my dad rode from Atlanta all the way to Michigan. We both brought wireless and sat up top in front of the window. I have heard they made changes to address the bridge incident (there was only one I believe) and the tire problems which were Read more

There's me thinking Megasbus was a UK only thing! Never used it mind, the fact it only costs a pound makes me thinks it's pretty low rent?

I've used it a few times fom Chicago to Columbus, OH and back. It's not bad...$50 isa lot cheaper than driving. But then the train/cab combo to get to the 'burbs is a pain.

Yay! Toronto to Buffalo for flights to the states because Air Canada and other airlines are more expensive here for whatever reason. Also Toronto to Montreal for whatever events, Megabus has always been reliable, can't say anything more.

One additional question: has anyone used a Megabus type thing with kids? My wife uses it all the time to get to the airport in Milwaukee or to get to O'hare, but I've never heard of anyone taking kids on the bus... As we have no rail system in Wisconsin, I keep thinking the megabus might be a methadone-level Read more

I used megabus a few times going to and from Philly/Pittsburgh, for college. When reserved early, it was far cheaper than even tolls one way, for a round trip ticket. Yes the reputation isn't great, but there's no low bridges on the turnpike anyways... Then again, the last time I used it, the driver didn't get off Read more

Megabus is great! I've used it a number of times from Chicago to St. Louis/Minneapolis/and Memphis. Although I prefer Amtrak to the bus for a number of reasons, the price point of the Megabus is a huge plus and makes up for any of it's faults. I've steared many people to their service over the years without anyone Read more

I've taken it round trip to Ann Arbor and Minneapolis from Chicago. The price can't be beat, and it takes about the same amount of time it would to drive on your own for considerably less than it would cost for gas and parking, etc. I like also that it only stops once or twice, if that, when compared to the train or Read more
