Call me old school, but I never liked using an old computer’s backups on a new machine. I like to move new files over manually as needed and keep the system as pristine as I can for as long as I can.

Counterpoint: wallet cases are amazing. I’ve never lost a phone. I have lost a wallet though... which this helps solve. It’s one thing to remember to grab instead of two. Also, the Find My iPhone app is now a “find my wallet” app as well.

My wife and I are in the same boat. Few “friends” outside of co-workers and high school people we never see outside of Facebook. I almost think we need an app for meeting other local married friends. But I understand how creepy that has the potential of being so... maybe never mind.
