The 360 added support for cloud saves about midway through its life cycle, and if you were using cloud saves before, they are still there now.
That is my advice as well. If you ever find yourself stuck at any challenge, go explore some more. There are probably a few other places where you can go, and a few other things that you can do. Come back later.
