I guess he didn't believe something from a sub-par Jesse Eisenberg movie would actually work.

You were around all that silverware and gave him the one thing that can't kill ANYTHING?!

It's that repressed rage, inner pain dickishness though—which is partially excusable. Savagely murdering dozens of people in a robot suit, however, is not.

I'll never forget, after he got the sex robot, when he was just continuously making noises while banging the thing—to the point where the entire family was freaked out. But then slamming down that OJ…damn, he must have been workin' it.

I think by now Jerry's gotten F-bombed by everyone in his family. What a sad, sad accolade.

I think they partly defused the tension of the situation in the beginning, when Rick and Morty landed on the planet and Rick just matter-of-factly said "oh, it's a purge planet, so when's the purge?" Reminded me how he first called out Mr. Needful in the "devil store" episode. That added some humor to the admittedly

"OUR PRICES, I HOPE, AREN'T TOO LOW!"

Yeah, I feel like that's one of the very few drawbacks of the storytelling on the show. Too many B-plots have been about Beth hating Jerry, or Summer hating her parents. At least a couple weeks ago they took it to an original level with the whole "interplanetary marriage counseling" storyline, which was pretty fun. So

Jerry's needed a good one of those from Morty for over a year now.

I think the last 5-10 minutes of this episode would have made a better ending to "Iron Man 2" than the actual one.

It's okay, it was just the Purgenol.

That was hilarious. I swear, Rick has this deep love for dance that he should show off more. The "Rick Dance" from the final episode of season one is one of my favorite moments. And then the cabbage patch at the end of the season two premiere. (Does the Tiny Rick "not a dance" count as well?) I'm all for more Rick

“It’s nice to get back to the basics after a tense, mixed bag of a year.”

It's eerie, isn't it?

I just want to thank you for your recommendation of "Chopper." Just finished watching it today and I found incredibly entertaining. It was that perfect combination of artful and visceral that made the story absolutely sing, not to mention the fact that pretty much all of those things happened. (I read up on it

Such delivery!

"7 Khoon Maaf." Which wasn't exactly good, but still pretty entertaining.

"Unlike most pillow fights, this one would have to take place in a county jail, where I was awaiting trial for murder." Leave it to Forrest to succinctly lay out the situation, and to actually organize it inside prison. It was a shame to see it all (expectedly) turn out badly for him. "All I know is that my dreams of

Thanks for the list. Think I'm going to go with "Chopper" first, since I love Eric Bana and since Andrew Dominik is amazing. I really enjoyed "The Assassination of Jesse James…" as well as "Killing Them Softly" (Ben Mendelsohn shout-out!), so I'm sure this is an excellent film as well. The other ones you mentioned

As one of the resident AVC users versed in Indian culture and media (or just someone inexplicably obsessed with Bollywood—can it be both?), I'm very happy to see Priyanka Chopra on a major network TV show in the U.S. That alone has been incredible, and we truly live in a gloriously multicultural era when a major star
