I have never watched Riverdale, but I LOVE hearing about what new, absurd shit they have coming.

He obviously liked drawing it considering that, outrageously buxom body aside, if you saw someone with as much hair as Harbinger or Starfire you would say “Goddamn that is a lot of hair.”

In my  book, Netflix deserves to go down for cancelling a Bone series.

Seriously, pick a random year on Wikipedia for TV shows.  I guarantee that there will be a lot on that list that you haven’t thought of in years.  If you look at the 1960s it’s like falling into a parallel world of shows.  It’s kind of freaky.

Mitch Pileggi in what looks to be a pretty solid X-Files Monster of the week episode.  I didn’t know that they had rebooted it again.  They didn’t?  Oh...hmm.

That totally threw me for a loop too.  I think I saw the episode first and then read the story years later with a strange sense of deja vu.

I didn’t know that I knew that music until I started watching that clip.  But it immediately threw me back to the 70s.  That was astonishing.

I am in exactly your boat. Dubious, but this trailer really puts a smile on my face. I just hope they hit the heights of the Dr. Seuss Bible.

I have watched a lot of a Columbo in the past three years and I am (still) a bit hesitant, but seeing the name Rian Johnson attached helps me.  And at least they haven’t tried to recast a straight Columbo series.

That’s one of the best blurbs I have ever read.  I want to read about a very angry cyborg cow.

The Lake looks like it has pretty solid effects.  Too bad it doesn’t have subtitles.

Weirdest thing in the trailer is Raimi in a suit.  It just seems off.

The guy playing the guitar reminds me of the old Kids in the Hall sketch about beating the Devil with the chords of power.

Rocket Racer!  The kids love the skateboarding right?  And it will have the lingo of the “hood”.  Perfect!

Wait, hold up. “Dark Knight of the Scarecrow”? They have started mining old 70s-80s TV? Well, okay, let’s go with the gritty remarks of “Goliath Awaits”, “The Highwayman”, “Otherworld” and “The Phoenix”.

Well, I was thinking about the big tank wheels from Justice League Unlimited when a laptop went back in time and Vandal Savage took over the world.

My first reaction was a “Blackhawks movie?  Seriously?  That is really reaching.”  But it does seem on-brand for Spielberg with the WWII vibe.  I feel like they are trying to find some of the obscure Marvel energy like Guardians.  My only hope is that they bring in Vandal Savage and big tank wheels.

Yes.  There are some really good ones in the Netflix series.  Cry Havoc was particularly good.  And Reptilicus had the new best song of any MST3K.

While I am disappointed that Dastalmachian isn’t going to be in the movie, as long as they have Luis I will be reasonably happy.
