“...but at a point where CSR and pressure from society have the corporations fully accountable in the West, not to mention that their executives are 100% of the time in the crosshairs of boards of directors, shareholders, regulators, investment funds, activist groups, etc scouting for even the smallest of breaches.”

Joe Z exhaust will fix that lack of “X-Factor” against the Germans right up for ya.

But if they don’t have to, why would they? They are a publicly traded company. They are literally legally obligated to make as much money as possible for their shareholders. Their shareholders could sue them for lost earnings if they were seen to be doing anything that didn’t maximize profit.

That’s not a defense of

It does, and the film crew did an amazingly good job capturing that sound in that first video. That is not at all easy to do. In a world where Nissan Silvia drift cars are extremely commonplace, this is how you make one stand out.

“That is what they presumably spend 8 hours a day, 5 days a week doing.”

If he was as much of a hack as so many people seem to think, then why is he able to charge six-figure pricing for his reports? Why do blue-chip industry titans keep coming back to him over and over?

Follow the money. If these famously conservative, tight-fisted corporations are throwing big piles of cashat the guy,

Counterpoint: some low-end CPU’s are overclocking beasts.

I definitely agree with getting a high quality motherboard. More often than not, a solid MB and PSU will squeeze the most from a mediocre CPU. Especially when it comes to gaming, CPU plays second-fiddle to the graphics card. A better GPU and faster RAM will pay

“But obviously fixing it comes at great cost in terms of money and effort.”

Nahh, it’s about $350 in parts to fix the drivetrain mounts. Even less if you go the DIY route and just fill the OEM mounts with Urethane.

And thanks. We’ve actually got another massive build coming up. Rear subframe swap, single-piece driveshaft, and a crazy-ass alteration to the final drive ratio. I really gotta get off my ass and

It’s Project Hoondy! That video was from right after we finished the custom cat-back exhaust build bast around a wacky Spintech muffler.

Oh man, I’m with you there. I currently drive an MKIV Jetta with a 5-speed and an old 12 valve VR6. The fruity engine note is one of the few good things about that car. The R32 is a whole ‘nother level of cool. Hove you seen one of those “R36" conversions? They sound bananas!

That is the classic VQ “tuner” sound on

THAT’S NOT A REAL COROLLA DRIFTING ISN’T A SPORT WHY SPEND ALL THIS MONEY JUST TO GO SLOW I’M ALLERGIC TO FUN WAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Nice! Where’s your locale?

The FD car you rode in sounds like a roided-out version of my buddy Andy’s car. It isn’t top-level competition insanity, but like you say some of the grassroots cars are still pretty damn fast!

LoL, I never said grassroots drifting is made up of the most straight-laced, mature, impeccably stylish individuals on the planet. It is made of of people who like to have fun with cars. For some, having fun means being silly and embracing their inner Fast n Furious loving 14 year old.

And while it might have a
