What’s worse is I’ve seen this crap given a free pass since Oblivion. No one wants to take Bethesda to task and make sure their games work.

It’s a problem with their godawful engine that needs to be put to bed, hardly anything to do with consoles. This was a problem with Fallout 4 as well. FPS games before this from years ago had already figured this out.

I can name an FPS from 2012 that works with higher frame rate because they didn’t do nonsense like this. Fallout 4 couldn’t do it either, a game from 2015. Why is Bethesda incapable of this?

Sadly it’s an efficient design. If you look at most US cities they are mostly grids. But it works.

Yeah pretty much. In WoW if I catch a cheating bot (which some are way too obvious) they are getting instant-reported. It does sadden me though that the video in this Article is WoW.

It doesn’t go far enough to be an Assasin’s Creed game, that’s for sure. Seems Ubisoft forgot the whole Templar VS Assassin’s. The fact that you have to spec into stealth for it be an AC game pretty much cements that.

The beta has been good so far, for sure. The two biggest things I noticed though was the compression artifacts on screen and my gameplay was below 60FPS. I don’t know if that is intended or a streaming limitation. Shockingly it works well.

Beyond 40 hours a week you are less productive, this has been proven time and time again. And it sounds like it was mandatory without being mandatory. And it wasn't just one and done. That’s not how a business should be running. Maybe learn some sympathy for your fellow human beings.
