There’s a different between acknowledging reality and making grandiose proclamations of doom. That’s not helpful and can be actively hurtful.

We’re only “doomed” unless you let the “we’re doomed” mentally prevent you from doing your civic duty. We obviously know that Republican voters fall in line, and we can counter that with Democratic turnout. Channel your frustration into registering voters, donating to progressive candidates, and contacting your reps.

I hope everybody here who keeps saying that they “just know” that he’ll get elected is at least doing something to make that outcome less likely because this defeatism is tiring
