theres an old addage that an armed society is a polite society. nobody *wants* to be shot.

not sure. but it seems like all the ones i've been looking at are not VESA mountable. They're bilking themselves though, i'm looking to buy 3 displays, thats 3 times as many as most people. i WANT to give them my money but i need it to work with a triple monitor stand. it makes me sad.
SAMSUNG, Y U NO HAVE VESA MOUNT DISPLAYS!?
sure, but i'd rather any armed intruder know: my gun is bigger. and lets face it, if you're unarmed, you arent gonna stay and play with that.
the sound of a pump action clearing the chamber is a powerful deterrent. Merely the knowledge that a person is armed changes the dynamic of a situation drastically. i'd say its far more than a tool for murder. The police carry guns mostly as a tool to deter to violence, not as a tool to facilitate it.
yep. i bout a JIC 500 about 6 years ago. mostly as a JIC solution, but then i saw that thing and decided it would be a lot more useful for packing and hiking and any real survival scenarios.
good thing your opinion isnt the only thing that counts. Guns, like gadgets, are tools. Guns have more purpose in this world than killing people.
which is where my name comes from!
i literally LOL'ed at that when i saw it
That is the worst Shep i've ever seen. he looks like an Irish Freddy Mercury.
in all practical application, this is not likely making better use of existing square footage. you need a significant amount of space to have two islands in your kitchen.
FWIW, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with the 2.4l has an output of 197hp and weighs in at 3161lb, so about 400lb heavier than the FT...erm GT 86.
my understanding was the FT stood for the partnership that built it, as in Fuji Heavy Industries (Subarus parent company) and Toyota. hence FT. the 86... well i guess they're just trying to leverage the AE86 corolla there.
i believe Ettores request was for exactly that, and his marketing people knew it would never sell, so they compromised for a skinny elephant that looks like a bloodhound on its hind legs with a steak in it's mouth and a penguin balancing on its snout.
compared to some "fine pens" this is chump change. Also, its target audience (Architects, Engineers and the like) generally can afford to drop $50 on a pencil, and likely have sets of pencils that cost several times that.
seems to me that 99% of engineering work these days is done with a mouse or trackball, and the only time theres much writing going on is when plans are being annotated or adjusted on the fly. even then its ususally not an engineer or an architect doing the changes.
If you're a level designer i can see this being in your portfolio, especially if he used lots of tricks to keep the polycount low enough to be useful.
uhm... perhaps i just defy typical American speech assumptions? I'm from Texas, according to the internet i guess i should be thankful that i have an ok grasp on the english language. From what i understand we're all supposed to be mildly retarded inbred racist rednecks.
