Obviously things are tough on the Prius because the Volt is a far superior vehicle.

Step one: Buy a Jeep. Jeeps always need something fixed. They just have a reputation for being reliable because they keep driving with everything broken.

That’s how not to afford to fix your car after you’ve bought two parts that cost more than the car.

My first car was a Pulsar with the 1.6 and a 3 speed auto. I think it was good for maybe 90hp. It was glorious.

Don’t try to trick yourself into thinking it’s not as good as it is. This was my first car and it was glorious. Weighs less than a Miata, loves to rev, sticks to the road. I’m 6’0” and with the drivers seat all the way back I can’t reach the pedals.
