Sorry, but they didn’t do what they were supposed to. When a problem occurs, you run your checklists. You run them from start to completion. You don’t skip steps, and you don’t try something that’s not in the checklist then go back to the checklist. You do step 1, step 2, step 3...step 99. One of those steps would

This! Boeing did get caught flat footed by Airbus with the Neo. In fact, Airbus has beaten them to the punch since then with the A321 and the A220.  The latter really hurts as Boeing working on a deal with Embraer that unraveled because of the cash crunch the Max debacle out the company in.

I concur. I work in flight test engineering at Boeing Field and even though I’ve only been there 13 years, it’s a different company from when I hired in. Every couple years we hear that Boeing wants to get back to being an engineering company and my colleagues and I continue to hope and wait for that. I also think

Nailed it.  I’ll keep my C7, and if I inherit $500K I’ll just buy a car that I like.

I’m trying to figure a polite way of saying no way in hell, but I’m failing...miserably...much like the folks who designed that...thing.

Not a Jeep!  I kind of dig the last couple renders, but that vehicle is hideous.

I feel your pain. I’m typing this from my quarantine room in Tokyo, and getting here was similar to the picnic you described.

The postal service is not your typical government agency. Frankly, I don’t care that it doesn’t earn a profit. Even in this day of email and online content straight to your screen, it provides a service that America can’t do without. As many problems as it has, and I agree there are many, you can put a stamp on an

We like ours. The wife drives her S4 like it’s an F1 car, and has learned that when you’re an Asian women all you have to do is pretend your English is weak and you’re in a hurry because you need to pee and you’ll get a warning 12 times out of 13 (seriously...12 times and counting!!!).

I’m from that neck of the woods (I’m from Arkansas, mom and grandparents lived in Missouri) and I always try to tell people that NW Arkansas/SW Missouri is really a nice place to live. And it is...really. Then a headline like this pops up and I just shake my head because it fulfills all the stereotypes you’ve ever

I’m in Seattle, and way back in the early days of weird shit at riots we had the sea turtles protesting at the WTO rallies. I get it...ties to climate change. Vag out white girl? Maybe it’s a Pussy Riot kind of thing? Clothes off cause the temp is too damn high?  Dunno...I got nothing!?!

You win all the interwebs, good sir.

Now I have justification to skip the upgrade from my C7.  If my hood comes unlatched, it won’t fly open because of the reverse hinges.  GM just saved me $60K!

That is one pissed off sounding piece of machinery.  Amazing!

Maybe if we let him state that Tesla has in fact achieved level 5 his cars will get the message and stop driving directly into completely avoidable obstacles and barricades.  A bit of positive reinforcement never hurts, right?

Is it November yet?  Can we make that happen?  C’mon November!

Hell, I’m American and I’d chip in for that just to see the pained expression on his face!

I don’t expect they’ll get more orders for passenger jets, but there’s still hope a cargo carrier could place an order and keep the line going for a bit longer. they’re building them at a rate of 0.5/month, and have 20 or so left to build for UPS. C’mon Cargolux...you know you want some!

I really hope the livery on the next Air Force One isn’t horrendous.  I’ve heard a number of folks go on and on about how outdated the current scheme looks but I find it rather understated, and it’s immediately recognizable.  Hopefully they’re planning on using something similar, but that would require me to believe
