Self-propulsion? She was using Force pull to pull herself toward the ship. How are people missing that? She was literally outstretching her hand just like every other Force user we’ve seen do when using Force pull or push.

He didn’t leave a map. Did you even watch TFA? Lor San Tekka found a piece of a map that could lead to Luke. No where in the movie does anybody say Luke left behind a map.

Well, the Solo standalone film was announced before any of the new Disney Star Wars films were released, during a time when fervor for nostalgic Star Wars vibes was still rife. After getting TWO nostalgia trips in the forms of The Force Awakens and Rogue One, naturally fandom has become a bit weary with the

Marvel should just buy this film, slap their logo on it and call it Black Widow. Done.

How does this look so good, while the Rogue One digital doubles looked not quite right

It’s a devoted actor’s life. Also, $$$ talks

TPM: Obi-Wan using Force run, Force super jump
AOTC: Yoda using the Force to absorb Force lightning
TFA: Kylo freezing a laser bolt in mid air, paralyzing people, putting Rey to sleep at the wave of a hand, using the Force to mentally torture Poe

Lots of new Force powers are gradually introduced in the SW movies, as Rian

Did anyone else catch the part where Luke says he took on a dozen students, and that Kylo took a handful before killing the rest? So it’s possible Kylo didn’t kill ALL of Luke’s New Jedi Order, but convinced some of them to turn....and become the Knights of Ren.

It’s underlit

How is this news? JJ Abrams confirmed before The Force Awakens that neither Kylo Ren nor Snoke are Sith. The Sith died with Vader and Palpy.

THIS

Remember though: in-universe, Luke is actually supposed to be about 53 years old in TFA and TLJ, which is 11 years younger than Alec Guiness was in ANH. So technically we’re not yet seeing a Luke that’s older than Ben was. Mark Hamill the actor is indeed older than Guiness was, though.

LOL oh man, Optional-4 has to happen

was just about to mention the same thing

That genuinely would make me slightly less disinterested in these films. Only slightly less.

The scene was indeed cut because the tech hadn’t yet existed to make Jabba the way he wanted. But Boba Fett wasn’t in that original scene.

I think perhaps all these new stories about Boba Fett are to amend what George Lucas had done to the character in Return of the Jedi. Fans were vehemently upset that such a cool character went out the way he did - like a chump. So, fans (who are also now taking the reigns at Lucasfilm’s braintrust) are creating

It actually wasn’t their first engagement. The Alliance partakes in a few very dire battles in Star Wars Rebels.

This. Also, he had no clear character arc. At the end of the film, he’s still the same bumbling scientist we meet at the start. No real lesson learned?

It’s not outside the realm of possibility that Vader had at least one backup lightsaber kept safely in his castle on Mustafar. Would explain why his lightsaber changed cosmetically from movie to movie - he’d swap out sabers depending on his mood :) . So Luke, after communing with papa’s Force ghost, probably went to
