It’s called a Wordmark - aka a logo that is a word. Think Coca Cola, Facebook, Porsche, CNN, etc.

Having received my bachelors from ACCD in Trans Design, I can confirm that is a very true academic standard. Drawing a car with “melting tires” and essentially no sidewall provides for more enthrawling/captivating sketches.

I agree with you on the standalone TV. It’s an expensive market.

Halt and Catch Fire is awesome, even the opening credits are great. I hope it sticks around for many more seasons.

ALSO:

#3 + #4 is what will happen. Melisandre will save Jon, realizing that his blood is that of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Jon will become the Prince that “sings the song of ice and fire.”

While I personally don’t believe there will be a Time Travel reveal (not the fantastical kind anyway), I definitely see the inspiration from the Morlocks in H.G. Wells famous book.

I think one of the details to be revealed will be that “The Doctor” tried initially to tell the first group of people awakened the truth. But the truth that “everything you knew or loved is long since dead and gone” was too much to handle and they went crazy/killed themselves.

Cherry picking in the PAST (i.e. circa 1980 or before) is exactly what happened.

Also, if were to store anything - be it food, water, fuel, wood, metal, etc. in a vacuum (think outer space) - it would not decay at all.

Are you referring to the glowing rings? Because those are actually floating hula hoop like lights floating from the ceiling.

Call BMW. I tried to fix it.

One benefit of Mother’s Day for people who have shitty mothers is that it is a reminder of the chance we are given to be an even better parent in the future.

THIS is the BEST comment.

BMW does a good job at integrating the side marker on some M models (when they want to).

Range Rover Evoque really started this design detail trend and is a prime example.

While I understand the science behind this, my $3k MacBook Pro and $600 Photoshop says this is a photo of a gold and white dress taken in poor lighting conditions.

Most car designers prefer specific colors to help better "explain" their line work, silver being one of them. Many concept cars are silver and/or lighter colors.
