After he chewed the scenery as Chris Keller on Oz and as Roman on True Blood I hope they manage to hire Chris Meloni to play Negan. He's physically big enough and he could do that smiling psychopath with a glint in his eyes that was Negan's hallmark in the comic.

I thought it was mostly pretty good, except for the personality black hole that is Joel Kinnaman. It probably would have done a lot better if they’d called it anything but Robocop.

I see what you mean, but there’s one important thing that differentiates the two: Trek was all but dead when Abrams was tasked with rebooting it. DC Comics, though playing second to Marvel, was still chugging along putting out new stuff - and a lot of it was really good.

I honestly think its just to preserve the moment. Not necessarily something spoilerly - just cathartic. The only reason I don’t think Glen is dead is because know one in the group would know how/why he died. Him being a walker and Maggie finding him among thousands of walkers in the herd is the only option but that is unrealistic even for the TV world. Her killing him and finding the Hershal’s watch would seem worse…
