Exactly! I recently dropped out of an independent film project, written by two men, in which of the two central characters were women with very important jobs. So far so good!

What’s your favorite color?

Which is so bizarre to me. Proverbs 31 describes an “excellent wife”, and she’s a freaking business woman! She owns her own land, and has employees. It even specifically mentions her providing food for her family. Given that, it seems like gaslighting to tell a Christian woman that being a “breadwinner” is wrong.

No worries whatsoever! And I agree that those comments by others are not productive. It’s always nice to find a reasonable person whilst debating, so thank you for being one of them:)

I can only conclude that he has a magical penis. How else he could have landed a lady like Minka is beyond me.

You’re a kind person. I'm glad for him that you were his RA.

Thank you for elaborating. It seems as though we are in agreement that we learn from our parents and from living in society. So, to refer to your original comment:

It was not a criticism of you, Lana, but I sincerely apologize for hurting you with my words. I’ve been following the the conversations Dino has had across multiple threads, and have seen people tell him to fuck himself with a rusty fork, and many other truly disgusting things. Unless I am mistaken, you haven’t said

It seems people don’t want to believe that PTSD can happen to a “bad guy”. As if the criteria for diagnoses requires passing some sort of morality test, or having been an innocent victim in their trauma.

You make a great point: protests absolutely have their purpose, and can be powerfully effective. I’d be very much in favor of these people protesting on campuses, at city halls, outside of courthouses, anywhere where decisions are being made about how we prevent rape and deal with rapists. I just feel that harassing

I don’t think I had a question. My point was that it’s my job as her parent to teach her that it’s not acceptable to kick animals. That animals are special, we take care of them and love them, etc. Otherwise, I’m relying on her to decide that for herself, and she very well might grow up to believe that kicking an

Humans have to be taught a lot of things. Either by the people who raise them, or by the society that reacts to their actions. My daughter is two, and she’s a cuddly, lovable, sweet child most of the time. She also kicked our dog a few weeks ago. Why? I have no fucking clue, but probably something to do with the fact

That’s nothing to get sympathy for, and is akin to pleading for leniency in a death penalty case for murder by arguing that killing is wrong, no one should do it, and the perpetrator doesn’t want to die.

Your small example is an excellent one. There are so many gendered, cultural and social songs-and-dance that contribute to the problem.

I legitimately LOL’d at this 😂😂😂

I’m really sorry about the persistent nightmares, but please.. PLEASE put a warning before posting a close-up of her next time. I just broke out in hives from the panic.

It makes me uncomfortable for many reasons. For one, people rape and are raped every single day. Focusing all our anger on one person seems (to me) to be a pretty useless waste of energy and time. Time that could be spent on prevention and education about autonomy, consent, etc. Hell, even staying home and talking to

Speak for yourself. At least five nights a week, I wake up in a cold sweat from having yet another nightmare about Ms. Click’s disrespect for the First Amendment. Sometimes she’s a Godzilla-sized monster, trampling student journalists and TV news crews like bugs beneath her massive feet. Other times she’s

Yayyy!! Followed you 👍😘

Hahaha no worries! I can’t really post it without doxxing myself, but I just tweeted at Benji and #twinja.
