In 2018 (for the 50th anniversary), Hussey gave multiple interviews about this movie and directly addressed how the nude scenes were no big deal for her. I find the timing of this to suggest more likely that they’ve got an opportunistic lawyer rather than they were actually traumatized by the experience. Not that the

Wait, you mean you never finished Romeo & Juliet?

They thought nothing of it for years. This is opportunistic.  They weren’t exploited.

Made total sense why we were watching it in class since it was the best version of Romeo and Juliet available and Romeo and Juliet was part of the assigned reading that year. The nudity wasn’t exactly continuous or that distracting. What’s weird is everyone pretending this was somehow shocking at the time.

They weren’t traumatized at the time by this event and it’s been over 40 years since they both reached the age of majority. Hope this gets thrown out of court. The criminalization of the human body is outrageous.

I mean...please. $500 million in damages? For acting in a film from 50+ years ago?

Fine with a father trying to murder his children then setting himself on fire but swimming nude was a bridge to far.

I’m sorry this is just … odd. I mean, yes standards have obviously changed over time, as evidenced by the fact that all us Gen Xers on here watched this in 9th grade English. (My teacher, a white Christian lady, preemptively admonished us to grow up and not giggle, this was Zeffirelli and Shakespeare for crying out

How could you possibly know if Indycar drivers could make it in F1? Like, seriously, what evidence of any kind do you have?

I mean, Newgarden essentially used Grosjean to make the turn.

My parents have 4 kids and all of us went to college in different cities a couple in different provinces. I know I personally used my parents Netflix the entire time I lived on the other side of the country and my friends and room mates benefitted too. I felt like Netflix were suckers despite having myself benefitted

Yeah I was surprised by that too. Isn’t college kids using their parents account a huge part of why file sharing happens? That’s the problem no? Why is Barsanti upset about that?

The question “what if my kid goes off to school” is particularly naive. I don’t even understand how it’s even a question whether some flat full of 20yo’s should get free Netflix because Kevin's dad has an account.

Limiting an account to a physical location is only a problem if you think Netflix gives a shit about screwing over customers. Seeing as how we’re even talking about an anti-sharing crackdown in the first place, it seems pretty obvious just how much Netflix cares.

Sure, but that does not mean that she should be allowed to participate. It also does not mean she should necessarily be excluded either. I know in running that transwomen who have been on the hormones for a period of time compete at gender level. However, I have no idea if that applies for swimming.

Well that’s all great. Good for her. But she doesn’t have to compete then, either. Like that is not part of her “transition.”

Who attacked Ashley’s sex-life? I critiqued* her writing, which apparently, you haven’t followed at all.

Yawn, another (liberal) author for a video game website trying to take a hit at one of the most innovative men to ever live.

I think the biggest con the college industry has sold is that you go to college to “pursue your dreams.” Pursuing one’s dream is only for rich kids that have parents to rely, or most likely, fall back on.

How many bought crypto thinking they’d get ahead AND splurge?
