I agree that just because I can name one example doesn't make it always true. However, it does take some responsibility off of the marketing for the failure of a product. I concur. I played WoW for about 2 years. During that time, I didn't buy any other games, because I wasn't interested in them as much as I was in WoW. before and after playing wow, I probably spend $100 a month easy buying non-mmo games. Playing wow was a lot cheaper.

I'm enjoying it a lot. Great team-based game-play, and the parkour system is awesome, especially once you unlock the light body type.
