Microsoft has the right to make their own online video service and restrict its use how they want. YouTube is not some publicly owned service, or a monopoly. There's plenty of other video sites out there. Google owns YouTube, they should be able to do with it as they see fit.

The article states that a developer who works for Bioware did this. There is no indication that he was paid to do this by bioware. It could just be that this particular developer was proud of what he helped develop and wanted to share his opinion.

It sounds like the difference is this is a steam whose UI has been design specifically for game controller control instead of a mouse, and displaying full-screen on a TV.

I hope this actually turns into something, other than the vaporware Lifescan showed off for the iPhone for diabetes patients 2 years ago for iPhone 3.0, that still doesn't exist. My wife is diabetic and I was really looking forward to that iPhone app.
