Avengers: I Wanna Know What Glove Is

Yeah, and given that Annihilation is absolutely a story that the MCU could do, I highly doubt that’s the title.

It really feels like Disney is throwing a lot at The Mandalorian. Hopefully this is indicative of what we’re going to have from the streaming service.

Fun on the surface sure but if you look deeper Titans has always been dark underneath - Raven and Trigon, remember Terra who was a minor having a sexual relationship with Deathstroke and died fighting the Titans, Starfire and her sister, Donna Troy’s husband and child being murdered.

It’s a decidedly mature show one imagines the studio crafted with fans of Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans in mind—fans who, looking back on the series as adults can better appreciate all of its heavy undertones and the complicated interpersonal issues its characters were dealing with at the time.

Titans actually looks like DC spent some money on it. Inhumans looked like Marvel just found a bunch of tourists in a mall in Honolulu, asked them if they wanted to be in a superhero show, and filmed scenes without a permit, running away whenever the cops showed up.

Tell me more about this “Two Ducktors” episode

Oh, for fuck’s sake! I know tv shows budgets are limited, but I think they have money enough to buy “New Teen Titans” and “Robin” classic issues enough to realize this is moronic as fuck!

Jesus Christ you’re telling me we’re finally getting Matt Bomer in a live action DCU property and instead of Superman, who he’s wanted to play since he was a kid, or Mister Miracle, which would play into his preternatural charisma, you have him play Larry Fucking Trainor?

I can’t wait for this to start. I’ll be watching.

Yeah but people actually care about the Teen Titans and have cared about them for thirty years. Nobody outside of Marvel’s executive offices gives two shits about the Inhumans.

I don’t speak for everyone, but my issue with the trailer wasn’t the gritty and dark tone, it was the cheesy editing and acting that seemed to be pulled straight out of the CW’s book of teen tropes.

MAYBE. After CW saturated grimdark comic book adaptations with Smallville, Riverdale and Arrow those same demographics got pretty happy about Flash and Legends of Tomorrow being more lighthearted.

This is what I figured, and hoped for, thank you. And agreed on the possibly worse part, I always thought Batman not killing REALLY isn’t that much of an out, he still absolutely pummels, and literally BREAKS people. No, you’re not dead, but your ass is so broken you probably wish you were, happy trails in the future

(Potentially) unpopular opinion: The Raft from Creepshow 2 is the best of the bunch.

Wow, Hugo Weaving is looking like a young Rip Torn there.

Nope. They’re all alive, but very, very fucked up by the end of the fight and you kind of feel like that’s almost worst?

I am pretty in on this if not just because that we finally get a live action Nightwing (despite still being Robin). Adding Jason Todd is going to be great too. I am probably in the minority of this, but I am some one THAT loves comics but I know they are comics and things can deviate from the source material and still

It’s this issue, it’s Kavanaugh... what the fuck is this shit and why do we keep allowing it to happen??? Too many women excuse horrible behavior done to other women, and the worst type to me are the ones that go “well something similar or worse happened to me and I got over it/got mine without noise so why are we

Remy shot a close friend because she thought she stole $1000 from her but jail is too high of price to pay for sexual assault?

We had corroborating stories, a damn admission from the perpetrator that he used to do what he was accused of, and the only defenses of him have been false equivalence or hotxp conspiracy.
