Depends what you mean by electronic. I was into some Big Beat stuff from the time, like Fatboy Slim and Chemical Brothers, but a lot of it just makes me think of Car Commercials. Or I get flashbacks to cheesy Trance and Eurodance stuff like Darude and Zombie Nation and ATB, which was horrible.

As someone who came of age at the same time, I can agree. It was very slim pickings for popular music if you basically despised most teen pop, nu-metal, and rap like I did. Even stuff like Radiohead wasn't really for me.
