The whiskey bar in the Stanley Hotel has a fantastic vibe and amazing selection but bring some money because it gets expensive quick if you feel like trying some of the nicer stuff.

I just want to comment that your coverage of this has been top notch, you’re one of my favorites of the new writers. A pure enthusiast and it shows.
I am assuming most of this is DMV issues, it took me 6 months to get my plates when I bought my car a year ago, I had to go get temps re-issued like 3 times. I swear I had the plates on the car for just a few months before I got the postcard in the mail asking for next year’s sticker moneys.
This whole comment thread is why I don’t give much of a fuck about trying to comment around here anymore. This place used to be fun.
My parents live up Golden Gate, that canyon was my stomping grounds learning to drive and it doesn’t disappoint. It is 12.4 miles to the State Park from the bottom and you can get there in less than 12 minutes at like 3am with no other cars on the road when you are dumb and a teenager.
Mine too, I was impressed at how much scrolling I had to do just to comment that I immediately checked the author and figured this would be good.
Anything that demystifies tech and makes it accessible like this is awesome. I would say it is unnecessary given all this info is easily available online, hell Newegg’s configurator makes sure you don’t get incompatible parts, but I get the accessibility of easy to use compiled instructions and kit because I got into…
Compounded by volunteering your cool object to be on display/part of the whatever, good lord I’ve been there on more than a few occasions.
Hell anyone who owns a boat has done this in one form or another, HEY LETS TAKE THE BOAT OUT!
2 hours later stranded on lake paddling with a flag up
I’M SELLING THE BOAT!
I pushed it to seven, DEPLOY INFORMATION FOR SCRUTINY
As a person who dropped out of college to chase a snowboard dream for a half a decade too long, this is awesome. Anyone complaining that he stuck to some stock tricks, dude was in full suit and probably hadn’t skated in years, wasn’t about to take a dig on camera come on.
Everyone cashed their checks, corporate stuff is never not cringey.
As someone who grew up utterly mesmerized by the insane “photo realistic” graphics, which was a term that got tossed around a ton back then, this is really cool insight all the years later know that I know how the sausage is made for the most part on the other end. Of course they were noting frames they could re-use,…
I just don’t understand how people can have projects that sit for long periods, I just can’t have something eating away at the back of my mind like that.
I could swear we just had this question a few weeks ago
Yay they have a Colorado leg, boo it already happened this year. Maybe next year if I have something to run.
A guy at the local CnC brought a shiny new Taycan a month ago, if I had the money right now that would be my pick because range be damned. They are stunningly good in person, just good lines.
I kinda figured something was amiss because of the price point myself...
If you ignore about 3/4 of the shot, it is a nice picture of some houses on a hillside.
Pretty much explained it a sentence later, chased the rabbit too far down the hole. Double meaning with the white rabbit, I guess it is general slang for getting way too effing into something.
I’ve got a buddy who rabbit holed a Prev, parts were difficult to find to say the least. He had the all wheel drive one, but not supercharged if I am recalling.
He spent way too much effort and money to get it roadworthy only to sell it off and move out of state for a lady. He put that towards getting his old XJ 4.0 in…
