30 miles plus 10 for random errands. For expediency and battery health an 80% charge as charge rate slows down starting at about 70% and dramatically so past 80%.
The testing is done on a test stand. Bit of a difference when there is also airflow in flight.

You need an inverter to convert the DC from the battery to AC for use by home and appliances. The Fords have a relatively heavy duty inverter built in that has already been tested for use.
