I’m just shocked that he chose an airline that doesn’t have true business and first class seats. I was once “upgraded” on one of their domestic flights. The only difference was that the seat was closer to the front of the plane and I got a free snack box.

I think they do for overseas flights - not sure if he took WestJet from London, though. 

The worst example of that that I’ve seen was this rich asshole who literally got off a private jet at the airport, drove drunk, T-boned a minivan, and killed three kids and their grandfather.
