I live in a city where biking is very popular. The weather is also crappy here 3/4 of the year (with snow on the ground for 5 or 6 months), but there are some people who bike to work year-round. I’m not that dedicated.

I’m considering buying one as well. I’m 10 km from work and am not in good enough shape to do the trip via regular bike without stopping for a break halfway. Which means my commute would end up being longer than taking transit most days.
