The block party was banned this year. Instead of 500 arrests (last year) I think the news said it was only a handful this time.

Unfortunately, I have been this person. I felt like it would hurt him less to break up with me then to be broken up with.

My worst...break up story: I was never notified at all. I was dating this guy for 3 months and one night I had planned a romantic dinner. I bought candles, nice table cloth, everything.

I joined OKCupid after I had lost 75 lbs and became quite fit and trim. No guys I went on date jokes made comments to overweight/obese people ever on my dates. (Maybe poster is unlucky? Or I am lucky? I dunno..)

Also, fitting that grunge is up today. I forgot to mention that today is the 19th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death. (Oh man, I feel old.)

I know the polls for this round just opened, but I'm glad to see that grunge is off to a strong start. I sincerely hope they keep the lead and beat out the spice girls. (I have no hate for the spice girls, but I love grunge!)
