These cars were pretty good for what they were meant to be: big comfy cruisers with lots of room inside. Bulletproof 3.8, easy to drive and operate...they were nice full size sedans for people who didn’t want a stressful driving experience. And that’s OK, not everyone needs or wants a BMW E36.

I actually don’t get the VW hate all the time. Car before was a 12 Passat. Took it to almost 101,000 right before it was totaled. Kept up with all the maintenance just how the manual said. Car never had one issue. Just did what I was supposed to. I would get another VW again, but hell no to Ford.
