I don’t think GRRM will change it, because to me the outcry about the choice is solely because show Bran is weird as fuck and never had a great story in the show (despite what Tyrion tried to tell us).
Of course, that still leaves the mystery of why the hell these two are fighting in the first place.

Many people have noted that White Diamond’s pearl has her gem in her stomach, while our Pearl has it on her forehead. Combined with the fact that the Yellow and Blue’s Pearls have their gems matching the position of their respective mistresses, I have to wonder if a swap of some sort took place long ago.
