This was driving me nuts Friday. I missed the first day of the Global Testfire because I had never fully reset my console before and somehow didn’t think to do this. Luckily, I got to play Saturday.

I came for the Pulp Fiction references and was not let down.

Great move on Playtonic’s part. No reason to allow the game to get negatively associated with someone like JonTron.

I have been playing video games since before I was five, but shooters have never really appealed to me. I played Goldeneye in middle school, but I never had the patience for it. Tried desperately to get into TimeSplitters and a number of other franchises, and never was able to fall for the genre. But Splatoon is my

First console I bought completely on my own and probably still the one I loved the most. I was sixteen years old, had my first job, no car and no girlfriend. I was making hand-over-fist money for a kid my age, and, as a result, I owned a ludicrous number of games for that system. Ah, memories. Hard to believe that was

In fairness, Peach was Toadstool until the mid-90s.

This is crazy talk. I’m 31 and it’s one of my favorite games ever.

Capcom says digital only.

They’re old games, so you can just rationalize it that way!

Oh, my god. So, so bought. I’m just bummed this isn’t on Switch.

It’s the smart play. Give your project more legitimacy and own your own work. It’s how Freedom Planet came to be. Fifty Shades of Grey, too. Knock the results all you want, E.L. James made a lot of money off a fan project that she took a step farther.

Hopefully the character makes it into the next Smash. I’d love to hear the announcer call out”Douche Link!”

I saw a local comedian make a “coat hanger abortion” joke a few years back. I can laugh at anything if you make it funny. This guy, however, had no punchline, and he realized just as the joke finished it wouldn’t land. He continued his set for a couple more minutes to some courtesy laughs (including a couple I threw

Jeez, Fahey. You might have just sold me on that Ghostbusters house...

I agree that Wartortle does not get enough love.

I totally did that with the original Wii but haven’t used an Internet browser on a console since.

Yeah, I’m the same way. It’s a weird thing, and the environmentalist in me should know better, but I do like the feeling.

Gonna have to disagree. Suicide Squad is not a good movie, but it feels like, with some tweaks, it could have been. Robbie was great as Harley and Will Smith wasn’t bad as Deadshot. Plus, it was cool to see a world where Batman has existed for a few years as an active hero. We’d never really had that in a film before.

Oh, God. I’m totally calling it Octodad Bibliotechnica from now on.

I paid $20 or $25 to get my picture with him at an ‘80's Night thing here (even though his show was on in the ‘90's). He wouldn’t do the Carlton dance thing in the pic. Instead, he replied with “I just did that on stage.” So instead I’m doing it in the pic and he’s got this “look at this guy!” point. If this wasn’t a
