You are all wrong, NWO was a Hulk Hogan/Scott Hall/Kevin Nash thing.

LOL!

Kotaku has a long eatablished history of reporting on things whether publishers like it or not—as any proper outlet covering an industry should! Truth is truth—which makes publishers and execs retaliate with blacklists or other petty behavior since the entire industry would MUCH rather just deal with “Influencers” it

It doesn’t bother me that they have to do these review roundups, because whatever. But it is very funny to me that so many companies have blacklisted them. Seems stupid given that—I imagine—they have a pretty high readership. But it’s chuckle worthy none-the-less.

You’re on EA’s shitlist too? Who’s shitlist aren’t you guys on?

Another corporate bot. I find it interesting that whenever an unethical act by higher ups is conducted and the media covers it, they start showing up in the comments - and no other times.

How the corporate boot tasting?

Actually the real lesson here is this is why lack of regulation is bad. We should be regulating the SHIT out of companies... there is literally no for-profit on this earth that would not enslave children and kill old people if they thought they could get away with it for a profit.

legally not allowed to just use images off the internet in a journalistic capacity moron.

“We don’t need no tax supported government agencies suppressing our freedoms with useless rules!”

Are you really “weird nerd”ing a bullet for TitleMax right now?

there are plenty of issues to take with G/O media and their coverage.  this is not one of those issues.  grow up

G/O has a license with Getty...so yeah they have to use images that are from Getty

The perfect response. Also, great article. A lot here that I wasn’t aware of.

lol. lmao.

I think it’s entirely valid. Cryptocurrency has fictional backing and can only be profitable if you can find another sucker — uh, buyer — for your fictional property.

It looks like they spent 5 years trying to come up with a game that wasn’t Bioshock, then just gave up and basically made a new Bioshock after all.

Yeah, I can’t say I don’t like the look of what I see, but this guy was telling us incredible tales about how he needed to be able to build an amazing game with “narrative lego” and so on, and that it needed to be completely different to stuff that’s come before, and it appears to basically be Bioshock 4. Like, what

Given 2K gave him damn near a decade to run that studio, with no hint of anything concrete throughout that time, my bet is he ran the studio into the ground going full “autor” mode, and finally, like 6 years in, 2K gave him an ultimatum to start showing results, and he reverted to making what he knew.

Y’know, it super fucking sucks that Ken Levine killed Irrational and put a ton of people out of work because he wanted a smaller, leaner studio to do something different than Bioshock, and then the first fucking game he makes with that new studio is Bioshock in all but name.
