Friend of mine is looking for another car after just selling his unreliable daily. He currently has a s2000 and is looking for a new daily. He is looking for something short to fit in the driveway, fun, reliable and around $10k. We’ve thought of a NC Miata or a 500 Abarth. Looking for more suggestions!
So I’ve now passed the 36,000 mark on my Mazda 6 and I told myself before I would do nothing with the car until warranty expires. Should I still leave it stock or play around with it a bit?? Plans so far are just new tires, brake pads and possibly lowering springs (give or take 2 inches). What would you do??
Hey guys, I have a final paper to write that is about car culture and would love it if you can help me here. I need to include some interviews, so if you can help me answer these questions that would be awesome.
Everyone here probably has their list of holy grail cars they want to see before they die, sort of like a bucket list. On top of my list is the Mclaren F1. A car I never thought I would see unless I went to Monterey Car Week or an automotive museum like Petersen. Well today I did the latter by attending the Japanese…
The German car festival hosted by Targa Trophy at HRE tomorrow. It’s about 100 miles away but sounds like it will be worth it. Now, I just need to find more things to do over the next 9 days... Any suggestions?
Can not tell the difference between any sporty coupe and a Ferrari. Let alone remember which Camry is hers without looking at the license plate to make sure (I know camrys are like everywhere but ours is old and generally there isn’t another one of the same generation parked by us). I sometimes test her in parking…
Finally, I’m going to Arizona again. This time to visit my cousin but would love to catch a car show this weekend. So Phoenix area guys!! Where the show at???
Went for a relaxing cruise up Angeles Crest today and was reminded of how dangerous it can be. I mean my Mazda 6 is not GT3 but I try to stay within my and the car’s limit.
Went to Cars and Coffee Aliso Viejo today and afterwards seeing the post made by Magnus I decided to check out this car show that was on my way back home.
Did a nice leisure drive up on Angeles Crest today. The goal was to see snow. Mission accomplished.
My brother is a Japanese car nut and whenever I can out name him with my wits, I’m proud of myself.
Having a car that isn’t too fast. In the last few weeks I have had a few close calls with being caught for speeding. Both times I was having too much fun trying to keep up with cars who have much more power than I.
Spur of the moment yesterday, my family decided to go back to our hometown of Santa Maria today. Even though we won’t be making the extra 2 hour trip to Monterey I am hoping to see of the amazing cars driving back on the 101. So far on the way up here I say a Ferrari 275, a bunch of corvettes and a green 918. The…
Okay maybe not so little I think the car is still taller than me but I finally got my new/used car! It’s a used 2015 Mazda 6 I touring with less than 11k miles and saved myself a few thousand dollars by buying used.
No this is not the car but it does look pretty good.
As I wake up today one year older, the first thing I do when I leave the house is put heels on. Maybe it’s because it feels like a grown up thing to do?? Well the positive side is that now I’m of average height with heels on!
At Irwindale today was the drift event and the drag event. The drift event wasn’t bad though I wish I had the time to check out the drag event. The stock frs and the Tacoma truck weren’t bad at all. Unfortunately didn’t get there early enough to see Kyle Mohan run his FC (believe the alternator broke) but back at pits…
This fall I am transferring to a University and will be commuting to school. The drive will be about 90 miles round trip with the flow of LA traffic every day I have class. I know this sounds stupid but if I play my cards right it will save me money just not time.
( not actual photo from today but you get it)
