For example, cable limits your VOD access to your TV. Internet streaming let you access VODs on any device.

Less convenient, actually
I mention bundling because of Disney+ offering bundles with ESPN+ and Hulu+, and Max has become a bundle of HBO, Cinemax, AMC, CNN, etc.
It’s almost like the Internet was always just a more convenient medium for delivery and the old television business models of bundling, advertising, and syndication are still viable after all.
Interesting, but how are you getting close enough to a raging battery fire in a pretzelled crashed car to do that? Even MORE very expensive equipment?
Yeah, I witnessed a New Year’s celebration gone wrong. One consumer-grade firework (the kind you buy from stalls in the countryside) launched in the wrong direction led to three cars and a carport burning down in a few minutes.
And given that most fire departments in the US are volunteer, severely underfunded, or both, they won’t be any time soon
There’s no reasonable way civilians would be able to put out any large vehicle fire, ICE or EV
As I understand it based on my extremely limited knowledge of firefighting techniques, the innovation is that cutting extinguishers completely fill the battery pack with water through a small injection site cut by the extinguisher. Minimal air intrusion means the fire is drowned and cooled to sub-ignition temperatures…
But why Mando didn’t get renewed BEFORE the WGA and SAG is beyond my understanding

New firefighting methods are able to put out EV fires faster than ICE fires. Those methods just haven’t been implemented in all fire departments.
People don’t need to be surreptitious to record you.
So, basically comic book superheroes being comic book superheroes?
A bit of inside baseball: A lot of scientists are complaining that Mars is getting too much of the funding that’s earmarked for robotic missions, and that it is interfering with other deep space missions NASA can carry out, like VERITAS and Europa. So there’s a lot of pressure to move Mars exploration to NASA’s manned…
Ingenuity cost ~$100 million to build. The helicopters are an incredibly minute fraction of the budget.
I think that top voted Gizmodo comments like yours should be highlighted as the ones that the general public as well as policymakers should completely ignore on the basis of irrational technophobia.
I’m kind of shocked that all the attention in the comments is on the tech beef between the two channels, while Madison literally talked about how she committed self-harm due to the toxic workplace, and no one here is talking about that
there are NO black on air or behind the scene talent
Given some of the public hysteria around autonomous cars, I wouldn’t be surprised if some “prankster” removed the cones/barriers/etc. when they saw the car coming.
