The Last Starfighter: The Gunstar in Death Blossom mode
"It can't have dissapeared! No ship that small could have a cloaking device!"
I disagree. Spaceballs:
No contest:
Should have been a Jeep Liberty.
I'm still waiting for the Super Metroid Academy. Send me to Zebes and call in the morning. I got this.
Not with that attitude
I saw Insane Masturbatory Rampage open for Slayer in '92.
Cobalt SS
260 hp, no-lift shift, launch control, 0-60 in 5.5 sec, decent handling (per C&D)
MSRP - $22k (then apply the numerous GM discounts of that era to ensure you paid less than $20k)
Plus, you could push 'em to 290 hp without voiding the warranty thanks to a factory Stage 1 kit.
- The first 2007/2008 GT-R when they cost "almost nothing",
Earplugs? Is there a hidden automatic transmission, too? For shame.
Thinking outside of obvious answers (Z06, 1LE) how a bout a 3000GT VR4? It was the GTR of it's day, faster than just about anything on sale except maybe a Diablo or 911 Turbo. All for about $61k in 2014 dollars.
I'll vote for Honda S2000. Sub-14 second quarter miles and can handle curves with ease. Beautifully balanced in weight, and pretty much ready for action when it rolled off the factory line.
2008 GT-R.
Sold for almost nothing when they became obsolete racecars

Prelude 4WS could out-handle any other car on the US market at the time.
Theoldone knows
More performance than its price suggests and punches above its weight?
