I think the scale video is a bit exaggerated unless you are living in a shack. I have lived through 3 Cat5 Hurricanes, and none of them took off the roof. One of them removed all the leaves and most of the branches from the trees, but mainly because it stayed in place for nearly a day. That can do some serious damage.
