How do/do they sniff out weed?
A narrow, clean, sans serif font really espouses the clean, simple idea of glass. Further, simple typefaces like that are gaining in popularity. One of my go-to fonts of recent is Microsoft's SegoeUI, which looks very similar to the above text. Google's typeface seems more generic with the non-rounded L.
The "1970" BMW logo was just their motorsports logo IIRC. Sort of like their ///M badge now.
