Oh he knew what sort of chaos he was going cause. Remember, he’s not just Luke Skywalker. He is also the best Joker - and yes, that’s including Ledger’s Joker.

Tyler Florence also has a really good French Onion soup recipe that I’d highly recommend. Pretty easy to do, too.

I’m never going to forgive Yates for his version of the Harry-Voldemort duel. He completely ruined.

No really, he wants the shambling corpse of Joe Paterno wandering around Pennsylvania to assist with vote suppression.

I think they are a fairly good product especially for old people that spend long periods of time alone. Your parents are in luck that if both of them are still around it some what mitigates the danger but so much of issue with old folks is how long it takes people to realize something wrong when they hurt themselves.

Scott Walker is out so I’m happy about that.

In MA voters rejected a challenge to our 2016 law providing protections to transgender individuals. This is a historic and first-of-its-kind win not just for trans rights, but for individual liberty across the nation.

Both alter_ego and you know what’s going on. It’s really hard to tell someone “this parenting thing is probably harmful” without A) being a jackass, or B) sounding like you’re calling someone’s parents bad parents, even if you’re not being a jackass about it.

The modern internet has really ruined fandom in a lot of ways. It’s opened the door to a level of toxicity you wouldn’t have had otherwise. I saw a tweet recently from a game I play (Destiny 2), promoting the new in-game event. Instead of excitement, most of the responses were “who cares? your game sucks” or “it’s so

You are the first sports blogger to liken an entire team as garbage.

I think this is a fair reading of it. I also think that the fans are sucking whatever fun he used to have out of writing the continuation (which is why he goes back to stuff that no one will shout at him about). It’s got to be stressful to have the pressure to finish ASoIaF off, especially given how highly esteemed it

I think he wrote himself into a corner that he can’t come up with a satisfactory way to get out of. He knows the broad strokes of the story he wants to tell, but he can’t get all the pieces from where they are to where they need to be in a way that’s narratively compelling and feels natural.

That’ll show him..

The World of Ice and Fire is one of the best companion books to a fantasy series ever.
