At this point I wish Democrats would just agree to build the wall but then not actually do it. That’s what Trump would do if he was a Democrat.

To say they aren’t irrelevant is pretty much a fact. How you feel about that fact is an opinion.
I once heard American politics described very succinctly with this: America has always been a nation of progressives dragging conservatives kicking and screaming into the future.
It was given a cabinet position.
I still remember when I was a kid and saw that article in Nintendo Power that Earthbound 64 had been announced. It was my first taste of the soul crushing feeling you get when a game in one of your favorite series just vanishes. Poof. :(
Because this website is so well known for it’s lighthearted, family friendly commentary right?
All you need is common sense to figure this one out. I’m just picturing an imaginary conversation between a general and some tank commander where he tells his men, “Sorry, no tank this year. Maybe next time. We have to go build a wall now!” Sheesh. Or maybe we will just let an aircraft carrier sink instead of…
A big part of the problem is also how we encouraged the Kurds in the region to fight by promising to keep them safe from other influences in the area. If we really leave now like Trump is promising, it will likely lead to not just a genocide, but a total ethnic cleansing of all Kurds from the region. This right here…
At first my brain thought you meant the Subway guy Jared, and now that I think about it, he might actually be a better choice.
The moderate by temperament thing is great. What does it even mean? I myself am pretty damn conservative... by temperament, if by that you mean the way I dress and speak and present myself. It is in no way a reflection of my political views, just like “moderate temperament” Tucker here is an alt-right extremist. He…
This really is the right answer. It’s hard to take the high road with the specific individuals I am referring to, but I acknowledge it is the right thing to do (and what I will wind up doing if I’m honest).
Do you live in a gat damn fantasy world or some horseshit? I want you to name me a game that the day it came out, hell, even two weeks after it came out, was the perfect embodiment of everything you were promised at a Con or E3 or whatever.
So, what I am gathering is that you did not rake your forest. All you need to do is go down to the rake store and....
To Trump, this is waaaaaay simpler than even all that. California = liberals (the bad guys), therefore there has to be some narrative where he implies they are at fault for all this. Facts have no place in this discussion.
Most of the people who choose to live there are at least “comfortable” financially. The thing that my dark sense of humor attaches to in all of this tragedy (and it is very much a tragedy) is that a lot of the areas affected are pretty deeply red politically. I mean, I’m not trying to play politics on this but the…
I try to vote for platforms more so than individuals. Individuals will let you down no matter what. I’m liberal, I support a liberal platform, therefore the democratic front runner has my support my default.
McCain wasn’t as cool as Obama. It has nothing to do with their actual politics. I would be surprised if most of the voters who voted for Obama and Trump could even coherently explain any of their policies.
The independent voters who were responsible for Obama winning two terms will be responsible for Trump winning two terms, and for the same reason. They’re morons. They voted for Obama because he was trendy, and hope and change sound nice. They vote for Trump because they saw him on TV. The people who are actually…
That isn’t how this talking point is used though. This is a great example of how you can use facts as evidence for something that is false.
This part. The part where you replied.
