I for one am looking forward to some super-depreciated I-Paces in the coming years.

further deterioration of GM’s competitive position”

Volkswagen might have something to say about the Atlis nameplate

RWD straight six goodness

So when is the GTI.D. coming out?

Is it cheating if I looked on usedvic? 1990 Celica GTS “It is driveable.”

West coast too, wagons a plenty in Victoria. My wife is constantly calling me out for craning my neck and remarking, ooo, nice wagon. You’d think with the combination of retirees and city dwellers reluctant to buy SUVs but still looking for something to throw their gear in and hit the woods a Buick wagon would do

Fuckin bridge doesn’t know how much I smoked, I’m not stoppin!

I think I like “invisible” A pillar more than the trendy “invisible” C pillar

I had one friend who’s car I was downright uncomfortable to be in. I have friends with messy cars and I have friends with shitty cars but this one was the perfect storm of the two. It was a first generation Ford Festiva that sent shivers up my spine. It was always full of his shit and it was gross and it was

This is just Alberta.  I guess you could just register your car out of province, and even then the 15 year law is a federal law not a provincial one.

I find it somewhat curious that they’re not releasing some of the lower hp models over here.  From where I sit in Canada I see way more 320i’s than any other type. Would it be their larger volume seller, their gateway car?  Or is that the 2 series job now?  Launching the more expensive sportier variants with no

Drinking age in Canada is the same or off by a year IIRC, depending on the province.  Makes sense that American universities are less likely to have a student pub if you’re not legal drinking age till your senior year.  I can’t imagine going to school and being underage the whole time.

I thought the whole point of MB building an electric vehicle from the ground up was to make up for the disadvantages of cramming a bunch of electric stuff where ICE stuff would normally go. If they were placing the electrical components in more organic locations, wouldn’t a frunk be a natural result of the layout?

We had one of these at the brewery I worked at for last minute deliveries.  My usual ride was a 5 ton truck so bombing around in this deathtrap on Friday afternoons was pretty awesome.  God help me if I’d ever gotten in an accident though, we overloaded it with kegs on the regular and they just slid around in the back.

I wonder if they’ll bring it to Canada. They sold boatloads of Matrixes(Matrices?) here.  It would probably do well.

Isn’t that made in Canada?  Probably going to see some tariffs there real soon...

This is how I ended up with my 02 325xi wagon. Perusing craigslist on a slow day not really on the hunt for anything, stumble upon a nice looking wagon. Oh and it has a standard transmission? And it’s close by? And it passes both mechanical and wife inspections? You should probably just buy the SLK.

A brand new CL-415(the purpose built ones) is $30+million.  It would be nice to see more of them out there as they’re made in Canada.  I don’t know what an old DC-10 or 747 costs but maybe cheaper?

It didn’t have a 3 way fridge?  I find that kind of surprising at that price point, especially if you’re going to take a smaller trailer to more rustic locations than you would the bigger models.
