Ramen Kazama is my happy place, even if I make an utter mess eating the Tsukemen. I miss Red Lantern - you could get your Shoyu finished with a shot of tequila and it worked really well.

I never made it to that, sadly.  I also have to admit it took me a while to try Tori Ramen - the pork-free thing threw me because that seemed antithetical to the whole concept of ramen.  But the broths there are AMAZING, and I am properly chastised about my doubt.

This has been such a delightful series! Admittedly, I’m probably not going to make my own ramen. We have some excellent ramen shops in the Twin Cities, and they all do it with so much more care and attention than I can give to it.  I will happily hand over my money in exchange for their delicious efforts. (This duck

I would just like to note while I do not enjoy a British-style chip, I do want to move to Devon or Cornwall and subsist on scones with clotted cream and jam (or lemon curd), and then some Scottish salmon & cucumber sandwiches.

We just spent a month in the UK last fall. My husband ate a lot of fish & chips, I got many meals that came with chips. I...could not get behind the chips. I think I just prefer a skinnier fried potato.

Now, the little deep-fried whitebait...those were freaking awesome. (Also, anything venison in Scotland.)

Yeah, you’re just gonna want to avoid driving in Minnesota entirely...

I believe with the mention of the kids, this might be about how instrumental Gwynnie was in consciously decoupling Falchuk’s first marriage.

I fly Delta a lot, as I live in the Twin Cities - as the former HQ for Northwest, MSP airport is about 85% Delta, and all the best flight times are secured by them. So for the routes we fly, we can go with United - which is worse than Delta - at not-great hours, or we just have to accept Delta.

They may not charge more specifically for aisle seats, but tickets that allow you to pre-book at the time of purchase so you can ensure you get an aisle seat? Those fares cost more. Airlines monetize EVERYTHING these days, including fares that allow pre-booking of seats. And if you fly from an airport that is

Okay, you made me look up what the expected price of this stone would be, according to the diamond industry..

Are we taking bets that he’s got his own personal rent-boy hidden away somewhere? JFC, what a troglodyte.

My cousin is a chef, and she catered her own very small wedding.  She did this, and topped them with those bright green wasabi tobiko - holy crap, I could have eaten a whole tray, and while I like the occasional deviled egg, it’s not like I usually love them like that.

SparkNotes is on both my Twitter and IG feed because it is always a nice little snort-giggle during the day.

Because it might, you know, cost more money and it’s much less expensive to annoy a stranger who made the effort to book a fare that included seat assignments.

Tennis balls work, too. It’s basically just a way to access a pressure point. My PT has me work with tennis balls at home all the time.  But yeah, I bet TSA would LOVE a nice, hard lacrosse ball.

Yes. I have significant soft-tissue injuries from hip to toe, as well as shoulder and neck injuries. (I used to have both a physical job, and a shitty, shitty doctor.)

I’m a 5'9" woman, but have the same inseam as my 6'0" sister. And I’ve got a whole bunch of hip, knee, calf, and ankle injuries. So unless you splurge on First Class (weirdly, on one of the routes my husband and I take, Delta prices them only about 50% higher than Economy plus, so we splurge), you are just staring

Thanks!  Putting them on my Wish List.

Full length - it’s about compressing your entire lower leg. Though there’s a set on Amazon that comes with both if you’re indecisive.
