I’m so torn. Part of me wants to see the new Bill & Ted in the theater but most of me knows that’s a ridiculous risk to take. :(

I just wish they could have gotten him back for the 50th anniversary special. As much as I like John Hurt it didn’t make a whole lot of sense.

I had it backwards in my mind. I thought they were strong arming NBC to let them be on their devices. This is even crazier. 

I always like the first Thor, but didn’t love it. I always felt his “redemption” happened a little too quickly and easily. We started rewatching Scrubs when the Zach and Donald podcast started. I was so sad to hear about his passing. Too young. 

Two years later... :)

I can’t believe no one else commented on that. I’m just reading the this article for the first time and that immediately jumped out at me, too. :)

Especially when Voyager established that at one point the Federation was using obsolete EMHs as slave labor. I remember a bunch of holo-Picardos digging in a mine or something (which seems like overkill...why not just use non-sentient digging robots).

And if this sort of thing doesn’t interest you—if you couldn’t care less about the lore, and just want to see Jean-Luc Picard back on your TV screen again—you’re in for a fine time as well.

I didn’t hate it. I just wish the “twist” ending never happened as it made no sense.

The really interesting thing is that the sheriff is a much more sympathetic character in the original novel, and despite all that being taken out in the script, Dennehy put a lot back in purely by performance.

Oh, man. I’ve had F/X and F/X 2 queued up to watch for a few weeks now. Looks like I’ll be watching the first one again tonight.
