The Taurus and Explorer are basically the same mpg. The Explorer gets 1 less highway with the same engine and drive configuration.

The the Edge though, I think the difference is that it has a small engine that struggles to move the bigger vehicles, especially at highway speeds. You can see this in trucks pretty clearly

Exactly. Generally it’s 1 or 2 mpg at the most. The biggest hit I can really think of is the Crosstrek but from what I have been reading, at least some of the hit is due to the wheels that weigh about a billion pounds each.

The one time I have been to Canada, I saw the same thing. Maybe North American drivers suck?

Unless you are in MA and you can legally travel in it during rush hour around Boston. You know, the time people are most likely to need emergency services....

    There is still time.

Also more white people are shot my police per year so there is that...

    What the fuck?

    Did you watch the videos?

They are threatening to shoot someone using a fucking Ford Mustang as a weapon.

I mean, sure, they could have just not done anything at all. That would make everything better...

And the bumpers when it rains...

I was thinking that but usually the scammers out there go an extra mile and take like 200 photos. I think it might be legit but there is doubt for sure.

This is a hard one. If I was ever in a situation where it’s the end of the world and I had to pick between my 1995 Legacy and my 2018 Crosstrek, I would take the Legacy any day of the week, even with 180k more miles on it. Hell, would I put money into the Crosstrek when it hits 200k? Probably not, but I will with the

The truck driver must have been using Macksimum power.

While I like the Magnum, I agree that the rear panels are a bit... much.

Still looks better than the car it started off as though.

I mean, everything except the last part has been true for at least my life time. The current administration just completed the package.

Everything is made up and reality doesn’t matter anymore.

Coming home from a party at a friends house on Cape Cod. I was pretty hammered, my wife was driving. Come over the bridge we see blue lights and then spot lights. An officer stops up about half way up along with the rest of the traffic.

We then realized why - some chick was sitting on the top of the fence.

    We were there

No one is interested in a company who has routinely missed manufacture deadlines, has terrible build quality, poor reliability, cars literally fall apart in the rain, has reportedly bad working conditions and is run by someone who calls a hero who risked his life to save children a pedophile? I’m shocked I tell you,

Exactly. MSRP was significantly lower in Feb of 2018 vs Nov of 2017 for a 2018 Crosstrek Premium.

Some dealers are pretty decent. I would still be battling Subaru of America if the dealer I bought it off of (and Subaru of New England) didn’t step up to the plate. They still never admitted fault. Did the dealership still make money? Sure. Did they make as much as they could have trading me out of a car that they

I can think of plenty of commutes that this can be a problem. Anyone who takes the Mass Pike for example. Easily a steady 50-60 mph all day long, even in shit weather... until someone does something stupid.

It’s about predictability. I know the winter tires carry a stopping and cornering penalty in the dry and drive accordingly. It’s also less of a penalty than my all seasons in below freezing weather. I also get a huge beneficent of added traction in snow and ice. It doesn’t make sense not to use them in my area.

    If it
