You are not wrong, but that sounds expensive..

I mean he already has 40k on it and not a single issue. He will find out soon enough. His 01 TDI Jetta had close to 600k on it before he gave it to his son.

    Learn how to drive.

IIRC the 1500 6 speed trucks were only regular or “access cab”, correct?

2010 Frontier CC with a 6ft bed. Not a full size but has similar towing capacity of alot the mid 2000s 1/2 ton trucks and the same wheel base as the f150/1500 trucks with crew cabs.

Looking for a manual truck is pretty hard as well. Luckily there are no SMG trucks out there (that I know of) but the percentage of manual trucks is so low already... I would have to say at LEAST 50% of the “manual” trucks listed, even new ones, we autos on Autotrader. I had a filter search and there would be weeks I

I’ve done plenty of 6 hour one way commutes as well. I’m just saying on average. Regardless - I quit that job for a reason but if I were to go back I would still drive a manual.

Put their heads on the chopping block as well.

    Get out the torches!

I drove my Impreza for 5 years on rt128 in MA. It was a 2 hour one way commute for a “35 minute” drive. That’s four hours in a car for most days. I never once wanted to drive an automatic. In fact, I found it way less tolerable when I had to drive an automatic rental car when the car was in the shop for body damage.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again. Anyone who posts an automatic car as a manual in an online ad should be sentenced to death.

There is no greater disappointment than finding the perfect vehicle. Everything is exactly how you want it to be and then the interior shot comes and its a fucking automatic. The

Whenever I see anything remotely interesting I see if it’s a manual. 90% of time it’s not. I almost bought an automatic (because you cannot buy a full sized truck in a manual unless you go Cummins and I cannot afford a clean example of one) and I’m glad I found a 6sp truck with enough towing to do what I need to do

    WHAT?

Depends on what they are carrying. Sometimes it’s the cost of whatever they have on board to go up slightly to make a little extra coin. Other times it’s simply waiting for them to be accepted into a port. The reason they wait 7 miles out is because there are no emissions laws out there. They can dump all of their

    Personally speaking, probably one tofu.

I haven’t seen one of those in ages. Loved those things but the Metro is still my favorite.

Damn it. This just made Metro Van values skyrocket and now I’m never going to be able to afford one.

One man’s “passive restraint” is another man’s “death machine trying to kill you ever time you try to get in or out of the car”.

It really is. Way more power than I was expecting and actually pretty fun to drive.

I know this is a one-off type of thing and totally anecdotal but I recently took a ride with a co-worker out of state in his 2017 Jetta with the 1.4t and manual transmission. He bought the car with 0 miles for $14k cash.

The tip we took was all highway and relatively flat (and he drives VERY conservatively) but we
