Yeah this is bad, but did they hear about Trump’s electoral college win?

Nah, the correct way to handle this is to pretty much ignore it.

Isn’t it great to see a picture of a president and his daughter that doesn’t make you want to puke?

Yes! He was such a gifted actor; such a journeyman. This is really hitting me hard. I just loved him. But my favorite Paxton role will remain: Chet, the asshole, military older brother from “Weird Science”. “This is my brother, Chet. He’s kind of an asshole.” Timeless. RIP, Bill Paxton. :(

There is an old saying:

We thought we were at the bottom until we heard the knocking from below....

I dunno... The NYT has been ripping pretty hard into the Trump administration. What are they supposed to do, post Trump’s picture on the front page of every issue with the headline “This Fuckstick Is Fucking Hitler, Ya Dumb Shits”?

Trump supporters waved around Russian flags with “TRUMP” plastered on them, a prank by 22-year-old Jason Charter and 36-year-old Ryan Clayton. “Most people didn’t realize it was a Russian flag, or they didn’t care,” Charter told the Atlantic in a phone interview.

Ooh, can they include the impacts of back-alley abortions, women and children who are forced to live in poverty because they came pregnant in unstable situations, statistical trends and scientific analysis, and the full story?

Because a lot of people have deluded themselves (including the media) into believing that inclusivity and empathy should be extended to actual monsters. IMHO it stems in the mindset that every argument has two (or more) sides, and that we must treat them all as equal in order to remain unbiased.

Nazi skinheads were a thing when I was in high school and college in the 80s— I thought THAT was just going to be the way of Reagan’s Post-Cold-War world from then on. But fashions come & fashions go; so I was kind of surprised to see Nazism come back into fashion today, but not really.

Who is the great Hercule Poirot?

How can someone this stupid understand the complexity of an NFL offense?

It’s like the most shitty game of whack a mole ever.

He seems to be incapable of putting the any conviction into his statements, so his words ring even more hollow. I am dreading the prospect of him addressing the nation during any time of great crisis.

It’s like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife.

I’d say that 45's BS and Spicer’s picking a fight with the Anne Frank Center is the most outrageous things that have happened in the past month, but it’s only Tuesday. I’m fairly sure they’ll top themselves before the week is out.

On point

In fairness, I do like to get along and pick flowers; although interspaced with a lot of working and learning.

I’m confused why he made a statement about anti-semetism at the Museum of African American History.... couldn’t it have been a separate statement?

...you know the way people say dogs start to look like their owners? It’s not just the orange. It’s the vaguely bloated look, the hair, the dead tooth gap where their soul should be.
