Has anyone been thrown out of a car show? I almost did just by sitting in a Jeep Cherokee (might have been a grand Cherokee). I get in on the driver’s side while my brother gets in on the passenger side. We smack heads in the middle. I had not closed the door yet. I position myself in behind the steering wheel. My

Well being surrounded by water should be a good thing for a lambo. Helps put that fire out.

Not really. A computer can react faster then a human can. No question there. Can a computer ‘see’ that the car/truck 3-4 cars ahead is swerving or has something dragging on the road and is about to fall off? Or, as in the case this morning, the spare tire that is supposed to by tight up against the undercarriage on

True. I would bet that it was the end of the month and quotas were involved.

If I was going to lease a used car I would want new tires, complete new breaks (pads and rotors, and that short line going to the calipers*), air filter should be new depending on the car... screw it dealer replace that too. I would want as much as possible to be new before I ever took the car. It wasn’t a lease but I

Australia where even the trees are out to kill you.

Here is an example of what everyone is complaining about. Old headlight assembly with new super bright bulb. You have a flood light of bright light instead of a beam of focused light.

By having the driving lights on with your highbeams means your car would fail inspection wher I live. The inspection was going to cut the wires to my driving lights since I had two blown bulbs in them at the time. The driving lights light up the car directly in front. High beams on usually means you are looking a big

Most still do. Peoplethen tuen on their high beams since they cannot see their car’s low beam lights over the street lights.

Even with adapter headlights people will change the bulbs to brighter blubs and the adapter no longer works. It puts the replacement bulbs in the up settings. It says so on most replacement HID/LED bulb packages.

Agreed. The video says 400 feet for low beams. I am thinking the test car had the headlights adjusted too high. 400 feet is high beam area. 100-130 Like the BMW low beam is low beam. There is a reason why we have both settings.

You are only blinding them for a few seconds until you level out. THat is not your fault. It is the people who are blind everyone on a totally flat road that annoy me.

If people headlights are adjusted correctly they do not blind oncoming traffic. Else every big rig would blind every oncoming car. Far too many people have the headlight adjusted wrong. Another problem is people are putting the high output bright bulbs in the old style headlight assembly. That makes this massive glow

I think you mean closes the pupils. More light means the pupils are smaller. Less light pupils are larger to allow more light in. The brighter lights would make your pupils smaller.

LEDs do not throw as far as Xenon and HID lights. For headlights LED lights are not as good. For every other light in the car LED is great.

LED headlights do not shine as far as HID ones do. Even videos with one of each in the same car. The LED is much brighter. The HID is a longer throw. I can see why LED headlights do not get as good a rating for distance.

Depends on the area you live in. My old explorer during inspection every year would fail for the headlights being too high. They turned them down to the point where the low beams lite up me 10-20 feet in front of me. I turn them back to what I considered normal. I never had people flashing me. Oddly the same place

Get the police offer’s name, badge number, and commandng officer’s name. I believe it is law that the police have to give you that information. I have found that even asking for that information from police may make some mad but none continued screwing around with my car. Usually they put the things they took out

Mybe it is me but I hate break dust on the wheels o my car. I usually change the pads to a set that doesn’t leave as much dust. I have swpped to ceramic break pads on my last few cars/suvs. Only issue was some more break noise for a bit brfore the pads broke in. I am not a high end/fancy car person. Not cause I don;t

I Know it was all about money for GM, but I never understood why GM did it. Keeping Buick over Pontiac. Buick costs more per car but I must have seen 30+ Pontiac for ever Buick on the road before Pontiac was killed off. Even today I do not see the Buick numbers even close to Pontiac.
