PHEVs get easily get 60 miles of range overnight, so a normal 120v outlet is surprisingly useable with them. Hell, if I got a BEV, I’d probably hold off installing a 240v charger in my home; I don’t often drive more than 60 miles in a day, and if I do, the odds of me needing to drive more than 60 miles the FOLLOWING

That’s the beauty of the market; diversity of choices. If Toyota wants to make this gamble, then consumers win because they’ll have a huge range of hybrid vehicles to choose from.

The developers gave us an option for a reason, and that’s a good thing to celebrate!

The other perspective is that all time spent playing a video game is time “wasted.” What’s the rush to “complete” a game?

Chinese money is subsidizing America’s public universities. These students return home with a very expensive piece of paper, having learning nothing about initiative and creative problem solving, into a government/corporate culture that believes both things are anathema to a stable society.

The amount of economic illiteracy in this post and headline is shocking.

EVs aren’t inherently more “disposable,” its just that a lot of “compliance cars” with sub-100 mile ranges are now basically worthless. People aren’t going to be scrapping any second-gen EVs with usable ranges anytime soon, but an old Fiat 500e which getting only like 75 miles now might not be worth keeping around.

Note that TVs saying they have “Dolby Atmos” is meaningless. Atmos is an audio format. Yes, the TV’s internal apps could process Atmos audio data and transfer it via eARC HDMI to an external receiver, which could play Atmos if it is hooked up to, at least, 7 speakers and a subwoofer (5.1.2).

Reviews are supposed to help potential buyers of a video game. If you passed on Breath of the Wild but say 99/100 reviews for the new game, and thought “gee, maybe I should buy it and see what all the fuss is about,” having a review that’s like “it’s pretty much the same game you already don’t like, so no need to rush

Uhhh, it’s called Truth Social, be polite.

Understandable.

I have to say, I find it pretty enviable that De Niro has lived a life blissfully free of having to field questions about his biological clock”
