Streaming works very well on the BBC iPlayer with a decent connection. A lot of programmes have an 'HD' option, which while not real HD is good enough to watch happily on a big TV. I've been using it for about three years now.

@DaneB: Alzheimer's. They can't make new memories, so they can't learn new things. But film they understand, and it's not like it works any worse than it did 20 years ago.

Are any independent developers making Android apps optimised for a 1024x600 screen? Because if they're not, Samsung et al may as well save their money.
