And of course...

My personal best stands at 35 years, 3 months, 4 days. And counting.

DING-DONG MOTHERFUCKERS!

Hell, the short at the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy was smarter then that movie.

Luckily Penny Dreadful has satisfied my cravings for a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen TV show. And, if they were to ever reboot the League as a movie, John Hurt would be an excellent Alan Quartermaine, especially since he’d probably say yes.

Just about every video game movie adaptation ever. Someone please make a decent adaptation of a video game so I can stop cringing every time I hear one is being adapted. It would probably help if they picked more games with decent plots, but even the ones with decent writing end up being terrible movies.

I was very disappointed with how this turned out.

Ugh.

“No, seriously, the HOWARD THE DUCK comics are a lot smarter than the movie . . . .”

While Lynch’s version wasn’t the book, it at least had a unique look and sensibility. The Sci Fi Channel production managed to make an amazing piece of literature into a boring exhibition of people wearing bad hats in front of poor scenic paintings.

Thanks Brad. Now I have to explain to everybody that the book was both good and nothing like your movie.

Ewok toys?

Even if you can't paint, change up the lighting. You would not believe the psychological difference between your ceiling's shitty fluorescent harsh white bulb and a warmer-toned lamp or two. I'm also a big fan of stringing a chain of white christmas lights around the room where the ceiling meets the walls for ambient,

Ugh...I've never felt motion sick in my life.

...but this must be it.
