Running Linux Mint, and had issues when I first signed up for Netflix. Not real sure what the problem is (was?), but googling around it seemed like people got it to work by using Chrome (not Chromium), which worked for me at the time.

This piece of bad advice (standing in doorways) originated from seeing what was left of adobe buildings, which are generally made of sun-baked brick, but often have wooden frames for doors and windows. Apparently, the wooden doorframes were still standing in the wreckage.
