I just treat all his work as one single horror anthology. The recurring cast links it all together and the central theme is “How many different kinds of dad can Henry Thomas play?”

You can’t ruin the stillborn.
People worked really hard over the last decade to make Halloween as annoying as Christmas and they really succeeded.
..and hopefully editing out the n-bomb while they’re at it.
Another issue I have with EPIC achievements is that the overlay often loses connection to the server after about an hour of play, and the achievements don’t trigger unless it’s connected. In some circumstances this can kill a save file. (Or in one particular case, force you to completely scrub your cloud data.)
I do feel that Davies coming back will have a positive effect on the brand, (he’s much better at playing the TV business game than Moffat or Chibnall,) but I do hope that eventually the show will find a showrunner who isn’t part of this nineties wilderness clique. Eventually the show will need someone in charge who…
It’s remarkable how many weirdo creeps seem to get involved in classic Doctor Who legal disputes.
What do you think “off topic” means?
I caught a bit of one of these movies on a stream a while back and was astounded at how cheap they are. It’s like watching porn where the sex never happens.
I remember when Craig was first revealed as the new Bond they had him arrive at a dock in a speedboat and everyone lost their damn minds because he was wearing a life jacket, which the press considered too soft. It’s important to remember that the character only exists to sell underpants and aftershave giftsets to one…
I’m excited for whatever Remedy wants to do. It’s less about one title and more about how their unique oddball storytelling has evolved since Max Payne. I did prefer Control to Alan Wake but I can already tell this isn’t just Alan Wake again. It’s the next Remedy game.. if that makes sense..
The big story here is the tastefully done remade art assets rather than the raytracing, but that’s nice too
Every now and then I get tempted to rewatch Twister for the disaster scenes and then about 15 minutes in I rediscover how repulsive the dialogue is.
Have you ever seen a feather star swim? Unlike ‘starfish’ they attach themselves to the floor on stems (often resembling an inanimate a flower) but when it’s time to move from danger they go into buzz-mode:
I don’t know how you could begin to reach a person like this. They are lost in a vast false reality of ghosts and demons. Utterly liquified brain.
It wasn’t that long ago that these same conservatives would have considered the entire concept of women’s football to be woke, politically correct, liberal, feminist, etc. Most of them certainly still think that.
I guess it’s a sign of progress that they now pretend to give a shit about it in order to feed the content…
How far did you get? Everything in the snow at the start is a pretty linear tutorial. Once you arrive at the populated town things start to settle into the rhythm it carries for the rest of the game
If I was to believe in alien visitation based solely on a collection of extraordinary claims then I would also have to believe in ghosts, angels and the sasquatch. It simply isn’t enough to just believe a common legend.
Insurance seems like something that can’t possibly react that fast. Do they sell insurance month-to-month? It’s also ironic that this atlantic hurricane season will likely be weakened by el nino.
It may be too obscure to really count but whenever I think about bad biopics I think about how Patch Adams turned a real life murdered man into a female love interest for story purposes.
Examples like this really make me appreciate the ongoing joke with the opening text of Fargo.
